ABC Go | Educational Apps
ABC Go is loaded with beautiful graphics and too many modes of transportation to count! Your kids could spend hours perusing this app and learning about letter and vehicles. It is fully interactive with the choice for kids to go wherever they want to go. It has great nature scenery as well.
Presented to us by Peapod Labs LLC. It is enhanced with more interactive opportunities for kids – very enticing!
One word of caution, on some vehicles there is an option to see a video. If you have set our recommended parental controls to block internet access the video won’t show. The video is under “For Parents” on our home page.
It’s up you you as to the settings. We looked at some of the videos and saw great 30 second clips of the vehicle chosen.
Numerous Choices for Each Letter!
This one shows you what kids see if internet is blocked – it’s up to you.
Fantastic Scenery and Graphics for Hours of Entertaining and Learning!
Thanks so much for visiting our site! Please consider using our buy button as the cost is the same to you and helps us to keep reviewing.
Meet The Developers!
What was the initial inspiration for ABC GO?
There is tons of incredible content on the web that can be used to teach children about the world around them. The problem is this great content is buried under a lot of things you don’t want your child to see. Our ABC series is the solution to this problem. Children are able to learn about the world around them through curated media from websites like youTube, Flickr, and Wikipedia in an interface that is tailored to them.
What is your favorite aspect of your app?
Because ABC Go uses real images and videos of objects kids are able to relate what they learn to the real world. We’ve seen this with our own children and it’s fun to watch. For example, on a trip to the museum Jared’s son (2.5 years old) was ecstatic to point out that the museum had an escalator, a word he learned from ABC Go. Jun’s daughter (2 years old) learned about donuts from ABC Food which resulted in a family trip to the donut shop.
Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
At Peapod Labs we are focused on connecting kids and parents by making apps that create shareable experiences. We have big plans on how to support this vision and we hope you enjoy what we’ll bring you next year. We love and encourage all feedback so please don’t be shy. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
