Just in time for Halloween fun!! Busy Shapes now features Vampire and Pumpkin shapes adding new joy to a classic learning app. This app has been featured many times and received numerous awards.

The Busy shapes app uses artificial intelligence and adapts to your kid’s abilities automatically. You can set the app for up to 40 players, which makes this a fantastic choice as a classroom app.

To keep your youngest players in the game there s a “Guided Access” setting. This will prevent accidentally swiping out of the app while they are exploring their moves. Parents can access real-time monitoring and get advice on how to guide their children. You can also track their  progress updates via Apple’s Game Center. Check out the videos below for a real-time example. Keep in mind, the game adapts for each child.

This app is presented to us by EDOKI ACADEMY and is the perfect addition to your kid’s toolbox for life 🙂

Meet The Developers!

edoki-academyWhat was the initial inspiration for  your app?

The inspiration for Busy Shapes came from
– the classic “must-have”toy that all children play with: a shape sorter.

– Piaget’s influence: “theory based on the idea that children actively construct knowledge as they explore and manipulate the world around them”

What is your favorite aspect of your app?

The fact that it is very simple to use and highly educational at the same time.  We’ve designed it so that it develops critical thinking and fine motor skills while being entertaining and accessible to all.

Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

I’d like to share one of the “behind the scenes” aspect of Busy Shapes which is the level management algorithm. Children progress seamlessly through the levels enjoying the game, the algorithm decides what puzzle to give them next based on previous levels.
