Caillou: Show and Tell – An educational storytelling app for preschool kids
Caillou: Show and Tell – An educational storytelling activity by i Read With for preschool kids is an innovative and exciting app! We highly recommend this tool for all Parents, Caregivers, and Preschool Teachers. It is a part of iRead With, a new read-aloud program created to foster language development and help preschool kids get ready to read. An added bonus is the ability to switch from English to French
Shared reading is valuable quality time spent with our kids. This app gives us multiple opportunities to explore and introduce them to a love for reading, a lifelong gift! The videos below show a small portion of the true value in this app.
Look forward to several scheduled releases this year as this is part of a series. This app is presented to us by Tribal Nova.

Meet The Developer!
What was the initial inspiration for your app?
We met with Dr Rvachew (from McGill University Child Phonology Lab) when we found out she was working on finding the best methodology for preparing children to express themselves, and we thought that with our expertise on apps for preschoolers we could work on something together and develop ebooks that could be both fun to use and educational. And that’s how we came out with iRead with.
What is your favorite aspect of your app?
The fact that that every animation, every living word and every prompt you find in our eBooks is there for the purpose of building language acquisition.
Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
This is a whole series and we will have several ebooks coming throughout the year featuring very fun characters that children love! ~Vaneza Callejas, Project Manager on iRead With. (photo above).
