1+1 Dice | Play Math & Learn App

0

1Dice1+1 Dice is presented to us by creasoft.de. 1+1 Dice helps to teach kids the addition of two numbers with the help of two dice. The app doesn’t use words, so the app can be used for children in any language. Kids have a strong reaction to auditory praise and happy sounds. The charming sounds, repetition and praise keep the kids learning and coming back for more. The arrow on the left is the app in full with graphics that most girls will love. The right arrow has the graphics most boys will love.

The app is based on the Leitner-System, meaning questions will be repeated again and again until kids learn the answer. There are ten levels in which kids will tire repeating. The graphics are bight and attractive on each page. In each level there are four equations, which kids can solve. In last level many questions will be repeated again. This is a great Teacher Tool to reinforce classroom lessons!

Meet The Developer!

What was the initial inspiration for  your app?

We already produced  the app 1+1 . With the app 1+1 Dice,  it takes the beginner task in German School for learning simple addition. The Diceare known by most children. The children don’t need to count the points on a dice. The children can see the picture of the dice and know, these are the points for three, or these are the points for five a without counting the points.

What is your favorite aspect of your app?

Like for our first app 1+1 we use again the Leitner-System . It means, the questions will be repeated until the child learned the answer. So far I know, it is the only app doing it like that. With this old and proven system, the learning of simple addition will happen automatically as long as the child is motivated to finish the app. There are already children that learned simple addition with this app without the help of any teacher and without the help of the parents.

Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

It is very difficult to motivate the children to learn, because learning means a lot of work. We try to motivate the children with a lot of effects, images, sounds . But at the end it means still some work for the children. Our goal is the success of learning. If we would reduce the effort of the app, the child could have more fun playing the app, but there wouldn’t be the good success. Please contact us at the links below – we’d love your feedback!
