Meet The Developer!
What was the initial inspiration for your app?
The initial motivation was the connection with and admiration for the character Maya. Many of the producers and developers grew up with the 2D-TV-series “Maya the Bee”. We all loved this cheerful and smart young bee, and – of course – her funny and lovable friends, like the always worried and caring Flip or the lazy and slow Willie. The stories were always full of fun and adventures.
With the launch of the new 3D-TV-series the possibility came up to create an interactive and educational app based on this freshly designed TV-series. How could we not take that chance? To create a modern and fresh app with our favourite childhood-character? No way we’d let that chance pass by.
What is your favorite aspect of your app?
There are six wonderful Mini-Games in this app “Flowerparty”. My favourite one is the Music Game. You can assign different instruments to Maya and her friends. And depending on what instrument you give to whom, the band of Maya-characters sounds differently. It’s always really groovy though. I’ve seen a seven year old boy who played just this Mini Game for more than half an hour without one bored moment. He totally enjoyed trying out the different instruments and sounds.
Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
What I’d really like to share is the app itself. It’s both really fun to play and educational at the same time. And Maya looks better than ever 😉 . ~ CEO Oliver Coors
