I chose Aunt Kelly’s Dog. It is a charming book about 2 little boys with big imaginations. So big that they scare themselves silly! A precious lesson is at the end of this book for your kids. The second video here gives you an idea on the quality and work that went into the production!

Meet The Developers!
What was the initial inspiration for the Flying Books app?
The initial inspiration was to use reading at bedtime as a way to connect children with family members who lived far away. Several of our founders have children whose grandparents do not live close by, or are parents who travel regularly for work. So they wanted to create an app that would allow them to record themselves reading a favorite story to their child, as a way to bond.
What is your favorite aspect of your app?
I think our favorite part is the option to add a narration profile! It’s such a sweet way to personalize a favorite story.
Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
Well there’s been some discussion lately about “real books” vs ebooks, and whether a reading app on a tablet is preferable etc. We are passionate about literacy and getting kids ‘hooked’ on al lthe magic that reading has to offer, but we also believe in the value of holding a print book- ebooks aren’t meant to replace these, but to compliment them! Reading apps are a fantastic way to have a library on-the-go, and with their added interactive features, narration etc are a great tool to help your child develop strong literacy skills. ~ Hana Nagel
