Bert is an adorable young baboon and as you know, baboons have bare bums.  He goes off to camp and is so excited about meeting new friends.  His fellow campers laugh at him because he is different.  This book app is filled with wonderful messages for our kids!  Messages of self-acceptance, the importance of each individual as a part of a group,  being tolerant, and more!  You will have to get the book to see Bert’s ideas and the hysterical predicaments that come about, not to mention a great ending!

This is a very interactive book and kids will be tapping all over the pages, it is designed for them to do so.  This app is enticing, educational, and fun!

Meet The Developer!

What was the initial inspiration for Baboon Bert’s Bare Bum?

My initial inspiration to create the app came from my granddaughter Addie.

We love reading story books together and the iPad took story reading to a new exciting level!

As we explored we came up with our own ideas of what would make each app better and so decided to create our own.

What is your favorite aspect of your app?

My favourite aspect of the app is that it was a family creation.

Experiencing 5 year old Addie’s laughter and anticipation to the story itself and her excitement to test and advise on the interactions was thrilling.

I have to admit the voices are by far my favourite part, It was great fun to record them and the kids did an amazing job.
