The Tree I See – Interactive Storybook An Educational and Entertaining Book App

2

The Tree I See book app is a fantastic tale of a young boy,  amazed as he watches a tree giving and sharing unconditionally with the friends that come by! That is a wonderful lesson in itself. The Tree I see offers many more lessons for kids! The fabulous ending is not revealed in my videos as we want you to get the book and allow your kids to discover for themselves.  This is a very interactive book that also reinforces reading readiness skills with highlighted dialogue. All interaction is not shown in my videos, but trust it is there!

The dialogue is a constant, yet additional characters are added as you go. This helps kids to maintain focus and builds on their “working memory” – “holding information in your mind while mentally working with it or updating it.” When a book comes to life such as this one, it provides a huge growth experience!

Please share with your kids that the book is helping to fund Autism Speaks! You and your kids are  a part of unconditional giving and sharing. This app is presented to us by Aridan Books.

Meet The Developer!

What was the initial inspiration for  your app?

The inspiration behind The Tree I See occurred during my early years as a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant in New York, a position I’ve held since 2002. Having the opportunity to help newborns, children, and adults afflicted with neurological conditions, brain cancer, and traumatic brain injuries allowed me to reflect on what really matters in this life.  All of us will encounter a dark moment during our lifetime, but it is important to remember that loved ones will remain nearby in our hearts, minds, and memories, whether visible or invisible.  As the light shines through, we realize that our loved ones will never leave us and stay by our side through any difficult time we may encounter. The story illustrates this valuable life lesson as the main character forms friendships with animals of the wilderness.

What is your favorite aspect of your app?

Ani-motion : animation and constant motion creating a true living storybook experience.

Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

I chose the self publishing route to indulge in the freedoms of creating a work that not only teaches a meaningful message about sharing, but also offers elements to maintain focus and enhance the development of a child’s working memory.  Maintaining an illustrative theme and single page character integration allows our APP to make such a claim.  The best part is that I have the ability to offer proceeds from sales to a reputable charity – Autism Speaks.  100% of net proceeds from APP sales will be given to Autism Speaks in celebration of our launch during the first month of its release. ~ Robert Mascarelli – President of ARIDAN BOOKS, INC
