FindThemAll
Find Them All: My Pets is the most recent exciting addition to this animal collection of apps for kids of all ages. There are 40 animals to begin with and more in the works. The app allows for the names of each to be spoken in 8 different languages and includes an option for kids to record their own words.

The skill level can be adjusted in parent settings and the chosen languages can be adjusted as well. Once enough animals are found, kids will win a camera and the fun continues. They are learning animal facts while building a photo album which leads to more activities. Shaking the device creates jigsaw puzzles from the pictures (the more you shake, the more pieces). In addition, there are quizzes and videos that are most enticing and will build their animal knowledge base.  Find the cameraman and watch videos of the animals. There is also a video within the app to demonstrate the printing option.

Each of the apps are a good exercise for eye-hand coordination for the youngest kids to a wealth of worldwide animal knowledge for all ages. The option to hear the animal names in 8 languages, and change the main languages offers an easy intro to other languages for our kids and makes the world a bit smaller 😉

Each of these apps has all of the activities of My Pets providing endless learning opportunities in a safe ad-free environment. There are free versions with in-app purchase options. We chose to review the fully paid versions. Individually, or as a collection, these apps would be an awesome gift idea to thank that very special teacher. The amount of educational content is amazing! The graphics an audio are all of the highest quality and are sure to keep kids engaged and wanting to come back for more.

Meet The Developer!

DevFindThemAllWhat was the initial inspiration for your app?

In 2011, I saw my 2-year-old girl trying to “slide” with her finger on my iPhone 3GS (and on the TV!).  I always loved Playmobil, so I liked the idea to create landscape and place items on it.

At first, we tried to make a “little” game to learn app development (the first version in 2011 had just 48 animals in 2 languages without quiz or videos). But finally, we made 4 games with a lot of content in 8 languages!

What is your favorite aspect of your app?

The game works fine for little kids (18 months) but older ones (8 years) like it too! I like to read parents comments on the Store.

I think that my favorite activity is to take a photo and then transform it into a jigsaw puzzle by shaking the device… I hope that no kids have broken their parents’ device with this functionality…

Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

Don’t miss the print, cut & fold activity: my 3 girls always had a lot of fun with these printable booklets!
