What was the initial inspiration for your app?
We all struggled to learn a foreign language at school like many students. Traditional methods focused only on grammar and we just didn’t find that motivating, so we decided to do something about it! We wanted to make learning languages a fun experience for kids by creating games that incorporated important skills like listening and communication and helping kids interact with unique speech recognition technology. We all mastered languages in unconventional ways and we wanted to use our experiences to create a great app that would revolutionize language learning.
What is your favorite aspect of your app?
We really love our advent calendar! We think that counting down to Christmas is a really fun part of the holidays for kids, so we decided to make it even better! Kids will learn a new English Christmas word every day and hear its pronunciation, mixing both play and education!
Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
It is important that parents know the quality of our apps. All content is developed with the help of language-learning experts. Some other important news is that we will start developing apps with different languages to learn (namely French and Spanish) in 2014! If parents would like to contact us, we’d be happy to discuss any queries they may have: just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
